Case knives are now calling to me

I also had the Case bug bite me a few days ago. I picked up this beauty:

Case Backpocket TB 61546 SS. I wanted a slim Case knife but with a large single blade and this was the winner. Found it at a local hardware store that regularly carries Case and Moore maker knives. Due to the prices I plan on getting more soon when I visit Bass Pro in San Antonio later this week for vacation :D

Edit: I keep changing the orientation of the pic but it still wants to sit long ways...:o

Very nice Case! Go to Photobucket User settings and uncheck automatically rotate image orietation on upload. ;)

any news on the Case email about the Frost collaboration?

This is the reply I got from case xx,Thanks for your inquiry. "*The knives with Corelon handles you see available from Frost are done by Frost. *We make the knife components and put the knife together, but they put the handle material on. *This is an authorized licensed product through us. "So as expected case xx knives are made by case from case xx components, frost glues on corelon handles in a licenened agreement. Frost produces 0% of case xx knives as several of you already guessed.

Thanks for both the update and taking the time to contact them.

For their other faults, Frost has done a pretty good job with Corelon for a good while. They have that down pretty well. The rest? Meh.
