I recently received a Case Peanut which is my first Case knive. I like the way the half stops work on the little Peanut. I've looked on the Case website but I see no place that half stops are mentioned. Do any of you know which case knives have half stops like the Peanut. They don't all have them do they?

yeah i was thinking the same thing, is your pen blade half stop-pull "stronger" than the clip blade on yours too?

see thats what i thought at first, then i thought maybe theres more leverage with the bigger blade; and then i thought that even tho the blade is bigger, that shouldnt affect how strong it is. So i think you are absolutely correct, which is weird because they seem to be identical. Maybe different heat treats?

Extremely Doubtful that they are different heats. More leverage on the main clip than the pen blade. Leverage is everything.

Peanuts are great, aren't they!?

And the 'leverage' issue is compounded by the (often) smaller/shallower nail nick on the pen blade, which also sits lower in the handle and makes getting a good 'purchase' on it all the more difficult. I notice this on other 2-blade jacks as well, including barlows.
