Case knives

6265 breaks down to [handle number][# of blades][two digit pattern number] so: 6 is jigged bone, synthetic, or laminate, two blades (obviously) and pattern 65 which is the folding hunter here.

the first 6 indicates handle material, which can be either bone or Delrin. In your knife, your shield tells us that the handle material is Delrin, because there is not an oval line surrounding the word "Case". And since the shield does not have the oval outline, and because of the font used on the tang, I would estimate a date of '73-'79.
 
That's jigged pakkawood on that Hunter. The first number being 6 could denote bone, delrin, wood or rough black. That is a 1965-1969 knife, no dots since that started in 1970.
