Case knives

Thx guys. Yes, they are the 2002 stagbone's. The hunter is a monster! I really got a shock when I opened it!

Don, I am an avid flyfisher, I tied those a couple of years back. I wish it were at a stream, but, it is my backyard! ;)

Very nice! I like the second one up. Is that the tuxedo pattern?

Ed T,
Don't know if your a CCC (Case Collector's Club) member or not, but as I understand it, this year's Regular Member club knife is going to be a doctor pattern w/spatula.

Ahhh.........collecting!!:)

Thank you for the tip. I am not a member yet, but I will have to look into it.

i too, am going to look into it. I have a growing fondness for these old looking classics, but, then again, i have always had an interest in traditional knives and especially stag!;)

I know where there is a near mint Case folding hunter Case lockback w/ original silver/red Box... It has stag scale handles (Red Stag)...

If I ad the $ I'd buy it and either keep it, or trade for a custom fixed blade Knife! As it's really expensive... but probably not as much as it's actually worth, being an older Case Knife!

Ed, like your wharncliff whittler, just got this one, it's a Case 53055 made in 1994, took a very very good edge, when I cut the threads after stitching a sheath, I nip the thread off close to the thread hole with that knife, snip! and she's cut so fast and clean...
but your's looks a little better in that with the blades closed, the tangs don't extend above the handle, that part sucks a little but I'll live with the nice stag handles!
:)

Very nice looking knife. I do like the stag handles.
I also see that you have two similar smaller blades. Mine has one that is squared. I think I like yours a bit better.

Very nice.
