I have one that I think is great, but only after I took it apart and removed the stupid liner lock... The combination of the back spring and liner locks side pressure make it pretty hard to one hand open. Was for me anyway. (On the flip side, with out the liner lock the spring is a touch weak, but good enough to hold the blade open in general use.)
Honestly, I say its still trad, since as I said they're hard to OHO, your better off to two hand it doing a pinch opening on the wide blade. Its like any other slippy with a linerlock, and Case makes several handle variations Without the pocket clip. (I find it terribly ironic that the stud and clip can most likely take this one out of this forums "traditional" guidelines, but that the liner lock is still included since they've been around Forever...)
I LOVE this frame shape, the usual large folding hunter, but in this size, a combo thats extremely hard to find, is a great grip and feel, in a much more pocket friendly size.
Overall they're a nice twist on a trad pattern.
You just might have to get used to the locking and strange opening combination of a stud working against a spring.
