I am, reluctantly, going to back out for now. I just have too much going on the rest of the summer to promise a timely turn around. I’ll jump back in when things slow down a bit in the fall. I will continue to watch and and enjoy the selection process!

I’d love to take this cool little single blade and add in 47 pattern Case Bros stockman. I won this from JohnDF A few years back, gave it a satin finish and used it a ton. I haven’t had it in the rotation as much lately and would love to put it in the mix as well. I’d love for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have.

I’d love to throw you in the mix for this round, but you’ll need to sign up for at least a basic membership. John originally set the only two stipulations…active membership and at least 50 posts. You’ve got plenty of posts and have been around since ‘07!

I’m assuming that “Member” refers to a basic/gold/platinum BF membership. And that you needed to be a member of the “Porch” variety having collected 50 tally marks in the Trad Forum.

Of course I could be wrong! If so, throw the flag on me for UnPorchmanlike Conduct! In fact it would not be the first mistake I have made in this thread alone (roman numerals) ! If found in error, I owe an apology to S sixgunner455

Yes, my original intent was for this to be only for active and paying members of the Porch... Thank you JonMcD for honoring this.
For what we spend on our knife hobby, and all we get out of being able to hang out here together, it doesn't seem like much of a hardship to kick a few bucks for a basic membership and keep this place going strong.

Wow didn't realize the package came in early. We had a lot of rain and flooding out here in AZ but I got my hands on the package of knives today and I have to say this is an amazing collection of case knives. All knives have great fit and finish. I'm going to spend some time going through each knive but I plan to take a lot of photos to attract more attention to this great GAW as it deserves. Look for the next round of the thread to be made tomorrow.
