Apologizes for kicking this off later than I had initially planned, the package came in this weekend, but my fiancé ended spilling a whole glass of wine on my laptop on Monday putting a damper on my plans Haha. This truly is nice pass around with many great high quality knives and a thank you to JonMcD JonMcD for getting this out to me promptly. I'd like to get this pass around more visibility so I'm looking to do a series of reviews with lots of photos. Rules and current members still in the running are listed below:

Here are the Rules:

I will draw a winner and send the box to them.
They will choose two, three, or however many knives.
They will replace the knives with some of their own (Case Knives Only).
They will hold their own drawing and pass the box on to the next person.

Porch Members Only!
Must have over 50 posts in the Traditional Knife Forum.
This rule must follow the box every time or John will call foul.

I will also keep it to CONUS only to save a bundle on shipping and massive paperwork.

By default, I am keeping in the running those that were in the last drawing. If you'd like to be added to the list, simply say "I'm in!" Likewise, if you are on the list and you do not want to be there, just let me know.

Here are the folks already in:

1. seas165 seas165

2. Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar

3. TheJon TheJon

4. Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31

5. Side O'Beef Side O'Beef

6. R Rhinofly

I'm planning to let this run for around 2 weeks and I'll be revealing my selection and my Case additions after the weekend as I'll be out of town this weekend. Good luck to everyone that enters!

Yeah that’s kinda where I’m at too. I have only a few case knives and the ones I’d part with all have something not right about them and need to go back to case.

That, and I ain’t a paying member, so I don’t qualify. It is still fun to watch what goes in and out.

Sorry for not giving this thread the love it deserves, but was traveling over the weekend then work has been crazy but wanted to post some photos to hopefully draw more attention.

First wanted to post a photo of my humble case collection. So one of these will be added to the pass around box for the next round.

I definitely get what people say when they feel they might not have enough case knives to participate but it's especially interesting to participate when you only have a few case knives as handling all these different great examples of case workmanship makes you appreciate all the case patterns you don't have in your collection. I'll definitely be adding a few more case knives to my collection after this GAW.

So after a long deliberation and spending a lot of time handling each knives I decided upon a knife. Many knives in the case pass around really surprised me once I got them in hand but I ultimately decided upon the case bros stockman knife. It was the knife that first caught my eye and the only other stockman in my collection is the GEC 82 Dixie. I also personally just feel the clip on this knife is more appealing than the long muskrat clip blade of the 82.

I do have to say it was a tough call. A lot of really nice knives in this box. The ones the surprised me the most were feel of the full sized trapper knives. Those things feel like they could handle a lot of hard work, I'll be looking to add one of those to the case collection as a user at some point.

Now for my addition to the box I'm throwing in my Copperlock in Burnt Indigo. It's a very nice case knife I'm moving on from this knife because early on in my knife collecting I was a much bigger fan of wharncliff blades but after carrying a knife for a while I'm much more partial towards sheepsfoot, lambsfoot, or clip points. This way someone that's a wharncliff fan can give this knife a new home. I carried this knife lightly and mainly used it for food prep as it's a great slicer.

Great choice... that is one of Case's best patterns. The size is great, not too big and not too small, and like you said, that Clip Blade is wonderful. 🤠
Nice addition, that Blue Bone is absolutely beautiful. 🤠

Nice job keeping this Pass Around going.
I wouldn't worry about the small number of people signed up for the Pass-Around, just keep it going to the few that are interested and I'm sure a few more will trickle in as it goes along. With all the negativity and B.S. that gets spread about Case knives, the fan group is small but select... But that's okay, we love them anyways.
