CASE PASS AROUND!!! - ROUND 15 - Winner Chosen

Nice job keeping this Pass Around going.
I wouldn't worry about the small number of people signed up for the Pass-Around, just keep it going to the few that are interested and I'm sure a few more will trickle in as it goes along. With all the negativity and B.S. that gets spread about Case knives, the fan group is small but select... But that's okay, we love them anyways.

I've gotten a couple of stinkers, but most of mine have been good knives for the price point. And I really like some of the patterns. And I really like some of the handle materials.

Now for my addition to the box I'm throwing in my Copperlock in Burnt Indigo. It's a very nice case knife I'm moving on from this knife because early on in my knife collecting I was a much bigger fan of wharncliff blades but after carrying a knife for a while I'm much more partial towards sheepsfoot, lambsfoot, or clip points. This way someone that's a wharncliff fan can give this knife a new home. I carried this knife lightly and mainly used it for food prep as it's a great slicer.

I have this exact same knife, and it is a beaut; the Wharncliffe copperlock is a great pattern. Someone is going to really like it.

I did this one back at Round 10. But it was a lot of fun, and I don't think I recognize any of the knives currently in the collection.
So, unless it violates rules and/or tradition, I'll toss my name in again!

Wanted to post some photos of the big boys of the batch. Outside of the stockman I chose to keep these were some of my favorites from the batch. Here we have 2 full sized trappers and a full sized stockman in some nice amber jigged bone. The stockman and the trapper in yellow synthetic have CV steel and the other trapper is SS. After this GAW I definetly plan to pick up a full sized case knife in CV steel, they look like they could get put to some hard use and not miss a beat.

I'm looking to hold the drawing over the long weekend probably on Monday. Next pair I wanted to show some photos of are my next favorite. I'm a huge barlow fan so naturally this case barlow stood out as a looker, but it was this case stockman that almost ended up staying with me. Its pretty much the same size as the GEC 29 so it's a very carry friendly size that drops nicely into the watch pocket. Also love the red pocket worn jigged bone. Both are great knives and come in stainless steel blades.

Fantastic job of promoting this great Pass Around! It’s not too late to join folks, it’s a ton of fun. 😎👍

Next set of knives to show off. Here we have a full sized texas toothpick in SS and a slimline trapper in CV steel. Both beautiful examples of full sized case knives. I have a slimline trapper knife and it makes a great slicer and food prep knife. Can't go wrong here either.

Surprising the 75 CV Amber jigged bone large stockman (and matching canoe) haven't been snatched up.
I don't have the stockman, but do have that canoe.
It takes and hold a wicked keen edge. I re-profiled and thinned the edges on mine to 10° per side (20° inclusive, no micro bevel.) on a guided rod sharpener that can go that shallow.
I'd love a matching stockman, but I only possess three Case knives, not enough to play, and they were a gift, so I'm not getting rid of any.
