Case Pass Around!

Hi everyone! I was the lucky winner of the Case Pass Around box that has been making the rounds around here. I am now passing it along to the next person. The rules are the same as before, you must be a Porch member here (~50 posts in the Traditional forums here) in the continental US and you can take what you want from the box as long as you put Case knives back in it. It is just Case stuff though. Also, let's try to keep this pass around to a reasonable size and weight. The last time I won a pass around the box was really expensive to ship because it had what felt like an entire knife store in there lol.
I needed to think long and hard about what to take with all these beauties in the box! In the end, I took a mini-moose knife that I just could not resist, a medium stockman, a neat little Barlow, and then I culled 2 of the more well loved knives (a cool old yellow pen knife and a jack knife that I hope to fix up and someday put back into this box on round 1000, fingers crossed that it keeps going that long). The knives I put in the box were a new in box (NIB) small stainless Texas Toothpick, a NIB Slimline trapper (that is marked carbon steel instead of CV, so that is a new change for Case I guess?) and my old trusty Case Sodbuster Jr in CV steel (this one's not new but is well taken care of and looking for a good home 🥲 lol). The prior entrants are in the list, and if you want to be in just say "I'm in".

So, you snagged the olive green bone Moose? That one has some pretty sweet bone IMHO. :cool:
 
Excited for this to continue! The last few Case I’ve handled had considerable improved in the realm of Fit and finish! Hopefully this will be a continuing trend, there’s very few knives that have the same character as a well loved Case!

😂 Ok, sorry everybody. I may have sorta kinda forgotten to draw a name last night because I stayed up too late playing a videogame (Elden Ring is awesome!) lol. I will draw right now. Stand by. Drum roll please...

Yeah, I liked the bone and I have never really used a Barlow so I wanted to check it out. Plus, I didnt really have a choice when my wife declared that it was "gorgeous, and a nice size, and easy to open". She just grabbed it off of the table and started using it actually, and I am not sure that I will actually get to see the little green Barlow anymore as she seemed to have claimed it lol
Ok, the box is sent out on the next leg of its journey. I cant wait to see where it goes from here, thanks everybody!

Your wife has good taste. I've got a couple of good Barlows so it doesn't sting too bad. :thumbsup:

I already know what to keep. On vacay for a week so pictures and a new winner will have to wait a few days. 🎯Barlow.jpg
