Case Quality - 2014 to Today. Are You one of the Lucky?

I'm sending my whittler in to have the huge gap in the stag scales fixed. I must have bought it in early 2014. There's a big gap to the liner, and there's also gaps and misalignment on the diagonal bolsters. I should have just returned it, but I wanted it so much, and I really like it except for the quality of the scale fit. I don't care a lot for the stainless, but the selection of CV models is too thin. The only one I like is the Canoe. I bought several other case for gifts in 2013. In my opinion, they were all too tight, to the point where I couldn't open the Peanut without resting my fingers between attempts. The mini Copperlock I ordered had an alignment problem. I ordered another and it was misaligned too. It might have been ground crooked. I gave up and gifted the first one and returned the second.
 
I buy 10 to 15 Case xx knives a year,I have returned one,it was fixed and returned in less than two weeks.
