I received in trade a Case Ruger Stockman. He threw the collector tin out! Can you get the tin from Case? Anybody know? Gonna go bang my head now.
 
It's a sub $50 knife. Case makes "limited edition" knives all the time. They are a dime a dozen. That knife should be used, and shouldn't be sitting in a tin. That's why I threw it out.
 
roknroll,Collecting is not about a dime a dozen.I have knives that cost over $800. But I also collect other knives as well. I started this thread to see about info on replacing the tin,not to debate you on knife preferences.Don't feel bad about throwing it out,and by the way,I kept your name out of it.I just want to find a tin,and remember Keep the packaging.
 
I would call W.R Case and just ask the question. Other wise keep your try any local knife/gun shows you can get to. I've got all the blackbone Rugers finally, and the tin's and sheaths in my closet. Now I'm after the stag ones.

Did you get the black velvet sheath? Those are very nice to use and carry. I rotate out my Case/ Rugers for EDC's now and then. Sheaths fit most of their knives.
 
Greenbone,Where do you get one of those sheaths?
 
Believe it or not,the stockman is the only Case Ruger I own,and since the packaging wasn't with it,well ,I wouldn't know.Haven't heard back from Case yet.....
 
There's probably a few variations of the tins/sheaths.
