Case russlock question

I have several Russlocks and like them. It takes some practice to get to where you can open them one-handed. If you are just looking for something that looks less threatening, I'd suggest the Case Trapperlock over the Russlock. It's a little bigger, sturdier blade, and easier to open and close one handed in my opinion.
I was thinking the same thing John. Great minds think alike or fools never differ as my dear mother likes to say. o_O:cool:

jstrange jstrange thank you for sending it to me. First the russlock is a beautiful knife. I love the look and feel of it. Definitely not intimidating. The one hand open was a little hard at first but I quickly got it down into one swipe with my thumb. Not a fast opening knife but quite useable for what I need it for. I have used it on the job already. While driving down the garden state parkway we came upon a multi vehicle accident. Using it to cut the airbags out to get to the patient easier. My partner who did not do a very good rig check that day didn't check for cravats. Well really not his fault as someone took our assigned and fully stocked rig out that day I had to cut some out of sheets to splint patients with possible arm and leg fractures. It definitely works for me. I am going to take the plunge and buy one. I will get it back to you as soon as I can make it to the post office.
Thank you for your kindness in letting me borrow it especially when you don't even know me.
And im sure my patients appreciate it.
Again thank you,
Steve

People mystify me. Doctors can use a knife on you. First responders can use the jaws of life next to your head, but if the guy that drives an ambulance for a living trying to save you uses a sharp object you feel threatened.

In other news, registered nurses will stick you with needles, so I'm told.

I would pick a Spyderco in one of the cool color. Way less intimidating and would look more like some kind of EMS oe rescue tool th a t just a knife to most people. Yelliw, red, blue, etc
Maybe even a Benchmade Bugout in nlue
