Im wanting to add a new knife to my EDC rotation. Ive been looking at the russlock. Do any of you EDC one? Pros Cons. Thanks

I love the blade shape, but I find it difficult to open. Maybe just me, but it seems like I will cut myself and I have enough scars.

my son carries one from time to time, he's 13 so he tends to like the more modern folders but this one was just different enough to get 'em to say "Cool" and carry it:)
I really like the look and once ya play with it for a few it gets easier to open.
I like it, so much so i wouldnt mind one for myself in the future.
good luck

I own one of the American workman series Russlocks, it's a nice knife and I carry it both with the sheath or without. I find it opens rather well one handed and closes just as easy. It was my first case knife and I think is a good bridge for those converting from tactical to traditional knives (not that I did). I recommend those to folks who need one hand access to a knife and don't want to compromise with a two hand opening method.

I've got one I carry ocationaly, love the frame shape, and the blade is nice too, a good clip point for most uses. The opener is a little odd at first, but once you get used to it its fine-- much better than thumb studs IMO, but there if you want one hand use. I pinch open the blade a lot. I don't carry it often because of the lock, but that my preference, not a fault of the pattern.

I've got one of the drop-points. I picked that one over clip just because of the blade shape--I wanted a bit more strength at the tip for whittling.

Know that I've got my stropping/convexing frame set up, I'll have to put it back into the EDC rotation.

I carry an amber bone one from time to time, rides good in the watch pocket on a pair of jeans
