Up for sale today are a few ‘oldies but goodies’. The Case and Schrade patterns are two of my favorites, but I have other examples of both that I carry regularly. Both the Case and Schrade patterns have been discontinued for 30 years now! I’ll hopefully find good homes for these.
Case 6202 ½ Barehead Jack - SOLD
This barehead jack was produced sometime between 1970 – 1977. This pattern goes back to the early years of Case, and was discontinued in 1977. The tang stamp reads ‘CASE XX/U.S.A and is a 3-dot. I purchased this knife off the forum a few months back in unused condition. I have carried it a few times, and sharpened the blades once to 17°, but have not actually cut anything with it. The knife is 3 3/8” long, with a 2 ¼” main clip blade, the blades being Case’s CV steel. Bolsters are nickel-silver, and liners are brass. The brown delrin handles are chip and crack free. The blades have a good strong snap, and nice walk and talk. There are a few spots on the blades and inside springs, but this is a very nice knife in just about unused condition. Made in the USA.
Schrade Walden 708 - SOLD
I believe Schrade started production of this model in 1952, and discontinued this knife pattern in 1977. The tang stamp dates this knife between the years of 1946 – 1973. It reads SCHRADE / WALDEN / N.Y. U.S.A. The overall length of the knife is 2 7/8”. The main blade has a nice long pull, and both blades have a good strong snap. The handles have a beautiful color and jigging, and are chip and crack free – I believe they may be delrin but I’m not sure. This knife has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters. It has been used and carried, and there are some spots on the blades and inside the springs. But it is a solid little knife with lots of life left. One of my favorite patterns to slip in my ‘watch’ pocket. Made in USA.
Robeson Shuredge 626/636 - SOLD
This is a solid jack knife. It was produced sometime between 1940 and 1964, per the tang stamp which reads Robeson/ Shuredge / U.S.A. It is about 3 ¼ “ long. The main clip blade is about 2 ½ “ in length. It has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters. The jigged black handles are tight and chip and crack free, with a molded oval ‘Robeson’ shield. The blades are still full, have a really nice patina, and have a lot of life left in them. The pen blade has a good strong snap, the main blade I would rate at ‘fair’ as it is weaker than the pen but still acceptably strong. This was made in the USA.
Price for the individual knives are listed above. I will ship USPS First Class Mail, which includes tracking. Pay pal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First “I’ll Take It” posted in this thread gets the respective knife. I can only attach 10 photos, email me and I'll send whatever pic you want to see.
Thank you for looking!
