Do you guys remember these? Made in the latter part of '80 and in '81. Sorry for the crummy photo. Not exactly my best.

My father has one. When I was younger I could not close it!! Cool but odd lock.
 
I am sure that the lock release was the downfall of the knife. Still a cool one!

I've tracked several on e-bay. They always go for well over $200.

What type of lock is it anyway?
 
The Case shield is pushed to release the lock. Sort of like an auto but the blade is pulled or pushed into positiion like a lockback.

My bud collects Case's and I mean he collects Case's,he has several Sidewinder's.I don't know if there is a Case he doesn't own at least one of, although there may be.:D
