I have a couple in yellow and CV. It is a bit embarrassing....I always carry some sort of fancy fixed blade averaging a bit north of $200 when hunting deer but almost without fail I end up using a slimline for most of the dressing and skinning when I get one. They are just so light, fast, and easy to put the edge exactly right where it needs to go without fighting a bulky handle or awkward blade height.
Let it soak in soapy water for a few, rinse well with scalding hot water. Let drain and air open for a bit on a towel.Strop, lube, put back in bag and go get another one.
I do find the handle a bit small and lacking for real work needing lots of hand pressure but for scalpel style flesh and food work it works great for me.
