The copperhead and the swayback, while great small patterns, are both a little over 3 inches.
Oops. I didn't realize they were 3 1/8.

America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Oh, you must be talking about the peanut!
I've heard there are other small patterns, but i don't believe it. The rumors of other small patterns are anti-cult propaganda!

Has anyone ever told you that you have great taste in knives? Not to push on the OP's stated size guideline (before you know it, we'll be recommending large stockmen), but to me the mini copperhead feels smaller than a peanut, due to its one-spring sleekness. Fractions of an inch can add up quickly on some patterns, but in this instance it's hardly noticeable.

Swayback Jacks are fine knives, but they do have more heft than others, with or without the slight overage in length. Not so the mini copperhead.
Sexy little thing.
