Watch Ebay....Didn't see one on Ebay tonight, but market value will often be what one sells for there. I'm thinking of selling mine, that's why I'm watching. Recent Case knives bring the most if you have the original box. There's some 5-blades on for auction, but not exactly like yours.

I'm going to keep watch on the sowbellies on EBAY. There's also a Case forum I'm going to check out. I'll post any results.

I've got a report from a guy on the Case site that they go for just shy of $40 to $40 on Ebay, and Sooner State has them on sale for $48. Does that help you Sammyclay?

Yea I paid a little to much for it. I was also told that Case was going to stop building these big 5 blade knives

They always seem to do another 5-blade every once in a while. Used to call them "beasts" when the blades were all at one end.
We've all paid too much for a knife or two (anyone out there disagree???). The trick is to pay too little sometimes to even things out. The best way is to study prices before you buy.
