Case Tony Bose Pic Thread

Sunburst, you sure have a collection that'll make a lot of people envy... Congrats, and thanks for the awesome pictures!

:( :o I'm actually sorry I got too excited and put the pictures up, I kinda ruined it for everyone...Sorry about that..:o

Sunburst

No need to be sorry about that Sunburst, I think anyone with such a fine collection would be tripping over their fingers with excitment to post pictures. Mighty fine :)

WOW these knives are great!! I'm kinda new to slippies and think they have a lot of soul to them. Do the Bose/Case knives with higher run numbers (the ones that a have 1000 in the edition) still have the same quality and fit and finish as the lower run models? Man slippies have opened up a whole new world of appreciation for me. Definitely will be poorer for it lol. aloha, MK

Sunburst,

I know the feeling, but in this case it warms my pea-pickin' heart to see all those together. ;).

Vince, where did the jigged micarta handles come from? AFAIK, case never made one like that.

Dogleg jack looks pretty popular, I'll add mine.

I used to have several traditional slipjoints and sold or traded all of them (even my Ohta ) except for the Case/Bose. Someday I want to get a leather belt sheath for it from Gary Graley and then I'll have the perfect package.

They made a Wharncliffe Muskrat?

Holy cow, Batman!

Any chance that's still in production?

You can still find them at some internet dealers and that large online auction site.

Don't know about 'perfect' but that Dogleg there would work exceptionally
well in a vertical sheath, the way it swells out near the end :)

Beauties all guys!

Just curious, what would you pick for an EDC....the slimline trapper or muskrat?

Thanks,
Dave

You couldn't go wrong with either, Dave, both are great. Fit and finish is better on the muskrat (imho) and the blade grinds are awesome.

That said, I still love the slimline. Put it this way, I'm not planning on getting rid of either one of mine. ;)

(The muskrat may be a bit more pocketable as well.)

I can play this game,I feel a little incompetent compared to some of you guys, though.
