Hi folks,
I'm clearing out a few knives to make room for some more.
First up for sale are two (3 7/8” closed) Case/Tony Bose Lockback Whittlers in Antique bone and Stag. These knives are NIB and have not been used carried or sharpened. The blades are ATS 34 steel. The large clip blade on both knives locks up like a vault and the two smaller blades have good snap. The small pen blade on the stag knife closes a little softer than the others. No chips or cracks in the bone or stag. Marks that appear on the backspring of stag knife is just oil. ( I forgot to wipe it before taking the photo) These knives are one of the most challenging knives to produce by both Tony Bose and Case. These collaboration knives are some of the finest production knives around. A bone version of this knife has been sold recently on ebay for over $600. I love these knives, but I have some other knives on the radar and need some funds. Each knife comes with zipper pouch and box/paperwork.
Price: Bone Whittler - Sold
Stag Whittler - Sold
Next up is a Case/Tony Bose Dogleg Jack( 3 ¾” closed) from the same series. This is an outstanding example with crack and chip free bone handles. The blades are tight and centered with no wobble. This is a wonderful classic pattern.
Price : SOLD
Next up is a Vintage Knives model 1902 Swell Center Moose in ebony. This knife was made by Queen Cutlery in a limited production run of 107 pieces. It is an exact copy of a Schatt & Morgan swell-center pen knife, also known as a “moose” pattern. The original was made in 1902. This (3 7/8” closed) knife is handled in ebony with nickel-silver liners, bolsters & shield and features a blade of high-carbon, non-stainless 1095 steel. This knife has been long sold out from Vintage knives website and is a hard one to come by. It was one of the inspirations for the Bladeforums traditional 2010 forum knife also made by Queen. It was made in 2005 when Queen was at the top of its game in my opinion. The Schatt and Morgan crew took on this project and was overseen by Bill Howard before he left for Great Eastern Cutlery. This knife is unused and unsharpened, but has some slight shelf wear on the shield and bolsters and two very small pepper specks near the tang. This is a classic and rare beauty for your collection or a very strong knife to put to work. Knife comes with black two piece box
Price: SOLD
Price includes priority mail, tracking & insurance shipped CONUS. MO or paypal + 3% I will only ship to the US.
