Case Tru Sharp Stainless Steel

I just bought a Case 364-5 SS hunting knife and it's a really good knife. It does have the Tru-Sharp stainless and I find nothing wrong with it. The only thing I could really find anything wrong is just that the blade could be a bit bigger handle fits perfectly like it was meant for me. I know this thread is old but I just thought I would say something about it since I have and used my knife since buying it. Didn't even sharpen it yet. ...

I know it's an old thread, but you kept the first part on topic, so kudos on that. I also tend to agree with the latter half of your reply, but personally I would have worded it more gently ; )

Just one minor point to add about the steel itself... case ss is actually the same as buck's 420hc (aka latrobe 420hc), the only difference is buck hardens it 3 or 4 points more, which does help keep the edge longer

Don't worry, there's a lot of assholes here, I asked if a certain knife was heat treated or if anyone knew, on a Cold Steel page and I had a couple morons be rude to me and a moderator threaten to ban me, Which I really don't give a f*** because it wouldn't be a big deal, I'll still collect knives, I'll still talk about them, I'll still sell them, I'll still buy them, so there's NO WAY in Hell I would pay money on here just to be talked down to or belittled just because I asked a stupid question on a CS forum on this site! Collecting knives and acquiring knowledge on knives should bring people together in a good way, not be idiots about it! I don't have a mortage or any big bills to pay so I have quite a bit of money and I have several hundred knives and that alone brings out the Haters!!! I'll STILL DO MY THING!!!

You started a trolling, nonsensical post in the Cold Steel forum checking on the hardness of a gas station brand knife. And I did not "threaten to ban you" for that post. But I have now rectified that oversight. Goodbye.
