Hey there everybody! I've been making these tributes of the iconic Western 49 Bowie for a while now and thought it was time to add the US national colors as a theme. The upcoming 250 anniversary of our founding documents inspired me.

These are significantly smaller and handier IMO than the original Bohemeth. Hope you like it! They have significant modifications, especially the extra long and extra bent brass guard, I dialed that back a lot. The handle contours on these are very different than the sharp angles on the original too, much more rounded. And of course it’s a hidden tang.

Steel is 5/32” x 1 1/2” in 80CRV2 with heat treat for 60/61. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a fine satin finish. The edge was about .012” before sharpening. Balance is at the plunge.

Dimensions: 12 1/8” OAL, tip to guard is 7”

The Brass guard is finished to 1200 grit and buffed. The handle is Osage Orange and Padauk with red white and blue fiber spacers, finished to 1200grit, then oiled and waxed. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare. The sheath sports the tri color thread as well.
