Case XX 62055

The pics in the sales listing are too dark to tell for sure, but it looks a lot like the one Old Hunter posted in the comparison pic above. My delrin 1974 peanut has the same dark look, so I guess it'll probably be delrin, but i can always hold on to hope.

The other thing to look for, on the bone-handled versions, are the visible 'pores' in the bone, even in the unjigged areas. That very dark bone example posted by Old Hunter shows the pores. The Delrin versions never have it, so the unjigged areas just look like smooth plastic, even under magnification.

Yeah, exactly what David said;)

Southern Woods, the 55s are a nice medium-sized knife, IMO.

Here's a couple - a smooth black, and a rough black.

Another one, with Late Rodgers Bone - pretty rare!

The middle knife in this picture is a 64055, making it a 4-blade Junior Cattle Knife. I believe they made them in 3 blades also.

WOW Charlie - you always have the best stuff !! That four bladed knife is to die for!:thumbup::)

The top knife with the smooth black and long pull is also very appealing - well - they all are!

But I eat beans for supper, Rob! :p

I love beans and cornbread myself, but, I love that truck as much or more than the knives!!:thumbup::)

That is not your truck - that Custom Classic Trucks means Charlie is playing tricks!!?? :p

I really can visualize you tooling down the street in an old truck like that - when you are not a hobo on the trains, of course! :D

My first vehicle was a 1951 Chevy Pickup. ;):)

If you ever get a wildhair and decide on getting rid of any of those please put me down for first in line. Especially like the 4 bladed cattle knife and the stockman pattern.

The 55 pattern is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Since picking up a 62055 I recently also found a 22055 in fairly decent condition for a reasonable price. Pics and review to follow shortly.

Now if I could only find a 32055 (yellow) and one of those 4 bladed cattle knives in the same pattern then I'd be set. :D
