Case XX Era - Kitchen Knife 9 1/2"

This knife is near mint with no apparent use. A slight amount of patine developing on the spine right behind the tang. Not certain of the handle material. This knife was a Christmas gift in 1946. The scabbard shows a few signs of handling and storage wear.

Wow, cool knife. I can't tell from the picture. THe spine makes it look like the blade is an insert into a frame, or is it one piece of metal?

Reminds me of the Kashrut discussion 2 weeks ago. Also makes me want to stop by the beef and ale for lunch!
