Case XX Folding Hunter.

As I prefer stainless steel and Staglon I have both of the USA made Uncle Henry folding hunters. The single blade is a locker.

Here is the Uncle Henry 127UH I mentioned in my previous post. My grandfather replaced his case folding hunter with this before I was born. And, every deer and rabbit we ever cleaned was with this thing. So many memories.

Is that the same size as the old timer 123OT
Which is 4" closed

Cause it looks just like it except for the hump in the middle of the handle
And the staglon is just cooler :p

I have one that someone on another forum gave me a few years back. I haven’t carried it but think they are really cool knives. I might one of theses days slip it in my jacket or put it on my belt.

I’ll have to take a picture sometime. I also have an old used Western.

Some awesome knives shared here. Thanks all.

So what about the history of the pattern? Anyone know or have old ads showing it way back?

I had my other brands first, but a Case Knife is what started this thread. This is a 2012 Case 6265 SAB with jigged Chestnut bone handles and CV blade steel that I bought to make sure I had at least one of Case's take on these old fashioned hunting knives. I like them too - in fact I like any knife that has a hunting connection! OH

This Buck Knife 317 Trail Blazer and this Craftsman 95026 ACA look like they might have rolled down the Camillus assembly line side by side. Black sawcut Delrin sure makes an attractive handle on a big knife. Buck always specified slanted bolsters to set their knives apart, Sears used the standard bolster. The shields look like they would interchange if you switched them. OH

That is a thang of beauty! Probably the prettiest folding hunter I ever saw. Thanks for sharing this one and all the others too.
