Howdy guys!....been out of pocket for awhile back east visitng with family, but im B A C K thank GOD!.....its nice to go on vacation, but ya gotta get home to get some rest!
anyway, heres a sweetie out of my collection. this is a NIB Case XX Rio Grande Camp Knife. genuine stag scales, around 14"+ overall length. not sure how many of these were made, but not many. i think they were only made in 1990 ( as this one is tang stamped) but not sure. this one comes as factory shipped with box and paperwork ( not pictured , batteries in my camera went dead). nice heavy leather sheath. this knife is very well balanced, and would be a great fighter, or as the name implies, a superb camp knife, or as i have it, a rare and hard to find collectible.
i also have a knives of alaska triple combo set for trade. suregrip handles. comes with all three of the knives pictured. out of all the hunting/camping knives ive had, i love the knives of alaska knives the best. blades are nice and thick, and the tool steel they use in them is unbelievable. easy to sharpen and they stay razor sharp. i have these left over from when i had my gunshop, and i have a set just like this i use during deer and elk seasons (im a licensed outfitter). last year (with my set, not this one) we skinned and butchered 5 white tail deer and two elk without even as so much as having to touch the blades up. comes with knives of alaska's diamond sharpening steel. whipps an edge on these straight away ( the steel if so tough its a must that you use a diamond steel on them as a regular steel or stone wont cut the edge)
looking to trade either of these beautiful pieces for one or more of the following
