*Cigar Jack sold locally.

Hi guys. I'm letting go of a couple of my older Case knives, and hoping they will find a good home here. First is a Case XX #62055 Cigar Jack. It is a 2 dot, which makes it a 1978 model I believe. With the help of a lot of great people on here we came to the conclusion that both of these knives have Delrin handles. This knife has never been carried or used. However, I have opened and closed it, and handled it here and there so it is not perfect. As you will see in the pictures there are some very small flaws, but overall I think it is in wonderful condition considering it is 42 years old. And the blades...wow, they have a serious snap.
The other knife I am posting is a model #6235 1/2 Torpedo Jack knife. 5 dot which makes it a 1975. Both of these knives are in excellent condition in my opinion, but this one is SUPER nice. Never used or carried. If you look in the pics the only real flaws it has are where the blades rub the liners when opening and closing. Closed it measures 3 3/8", open with the large blade 5 3/4", and open with the smaller blade it is 5 1/8". I believe the blades to be CV, but once again, I am not 100%, though I am sure someone here can probably tell. Like I mentioned when telling about the other knife, the handles on this one are Delrin also. Also, like the other knife, both blades have some serious snap to them when opening and closing. Overall just a really pretty knife in awesome condition for being so old. If I missed something don't hesitate to ask, if you are interested and decide you want it or both, since I haven't sold here before we will talk about me shipping first as long as you have some feedback. Pricing them both at $70 each shipped or would trade both for one of the cheaper Protech autos-even a little Runt! I use USPS Priority and always send the tracking info within 10 minutes of having it in hand. Thanks guys and have a good one.

P.S. Thank you to all who helped me figure out the handle and blade material. It is greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I had to run and do some things. Going to measure the knife now, JTB. Bpatton I am pretty sure the blades are carbon, but I will find out to be 100%. And LastRodeo, almost positive they are Bovine bone, but I will double check that also. Thanks guys.

Ok, I just measured it-closed it is 3 7/16". With the largest blade open it is 5 15/16" and with the other it is 5 1/4". As far as the blade steel this is what I found so far: Supposedly, if they are stainless there are a few identifiers being:

-the word STAINLESS as part of the tang stamping (pre-1980 only which it is)
-the letters SS on the tang of one or more blades
-the letters SS or SSP after the pattern number

Since it has none of these I am guessing it is CV, but I honestly can't be 100% just yet, but I will keep looking sir. LastRodeo, I saw on a reputative knife site online that this model from 1970-1972 had a red bone, and then it says 1973, 1974, and 1977 had bone, but it says nothing about the year of this one, nor what type of bone. I just looked at it closely again, and I think it is bone, but again, I can't be 100% just yet. Sorry guys, I promise I will do my best to find out for sure. You guys have a good one!

P.S. I also have a Case XX #6235 1/2 Swell Jack or Swell End Jack I think it is called I will list with this one later. I didn't have time earlier when I put this one up. I think it is a 1974, and it looks nearly brand new...super condition.

I added the Swell Jack along with pics, though I had to delete a couple of the Cigar Jack since I could only have 10 total. But, if you want to see more just let me know. I wanted to ask a question if I could please...Is there any way I could change to title to reflect the knife that was added? If not that is ok :). Thank you guys.

There is an edit title function on the top right of your thread edit functions.

Hey guys I really appreciate all the help. It's funny, I stared at the handles on both for a long time and spent a couple hours online also and still came to the conclusion that they were both Bone lol. I have maybe 30 Case knives from the 1970's and the ones that I KNOW are Delrin seemed to be a darker color and also just one color, not lighter around the edges like these. Anyway, I am glad you guys straightened me out. Well, with all that being said, I have looked and looked online trying to come up with fair prices, and I think those are decent, but let's just make them $85 each or if someone bought both $160. I will ship on my dime. I hope that is a fair price. Again, thank you all for the awesome help...I really appreciate it.

Bump and drop to $70 each. Would also swap both for a little Protech auto like a Runt or something. Thanks!
