I purchased this bowie from Kevin Cashen at the Blade Show in 2007 (I think). It's typical awesome work from Kevin, with a beefy 11" blade about 1/4" thick at the spine and 15 3/4" OAL. Beautifully figured ironwood handle with damascus guard and buttcap and cast bronze spacers. At least I think they're bronze. Nice little touch and sets off the ironwood handle beautifully.

Comes with a nice leather sheath, also by Kevin, and a padded zipper case. Also comes standard with lots of mojo and the kind of bragging rights reserved exclusively for owners of totally awesome Cashen bowies.

Now some pics...

Unfortunately, as you can see in the third picture, the blade has a few very small oxidation marks on and near the ricasso. They're very shallow, however, and would surely disappear with a few swipes of 800 grit paper (but I'll leave that task for the new owner). Also one minor spot on the guard (see pic 4).

I'm asking $950, which includes USPS insured priority mail to anywhere in the US. Money orders or personal checks if I know you.

Any questions, just ask...

And here's the Sfreddo.

Now, Rodrigo Sfreddo is, in my humble opinion, among the most talented contemporary bladesmiths today. This knife is a very nice all damascus bowie with ladder pattern blade (it has incredible shimmer. Seriously. You should buy it just for that) and random pattern damascus fittings. The guard, spacer, and buttcap have all been decoratively fluted, helping to accentuate the damascus layers quite nicely. The contoured Brazilian hardwood (I forgot the species) handle looks nice and feels really good in the hand.

Fit and finish, as you would expect, is tight and the knife's condition is unused and almost flawless. Almost because there's a very small stain right at the guard joint.

The blade is just over 8 1/2" long, 1/4" thick at the spine, and overall length is 14"

Comes with a nice, tough sheath - could be horsehide but I'm not positive - also by the maker. Nice little touch is the matching damascus button on the strap.

Asking $950 for this knife as well. This also includes insured USPS priority mail shipping within the US. Once again, money orders or personal checks if I know you.

Hi John,
You can kinda see the buttcap in the fourth picture. Here's a shot with the sheath
