If you were stranded on a tropical island and could have only one Busse, which one would it be. I would want a Steel Heart-E. It's a perfect size for an all around knife.

After Shock.
There'd be lots of chopping to do. Clearing trails, building shelter, chopping firewood, building a raft, cracking coconuts, etc... The Bolo design would be perfect for these tasks.

I would take the BM with me.

I feel more confortable with a bigger knife. The BM is "the best of the biggest".

Snowman: I love your pictures! I am happy you don´t work in a slaughterhouse.
For the island I would of course take my BM.
For me it balances perfectly. I can do delicate carving and heavy chopping with the same knife.
And yes: in the worst case - I can defend myself with it against those attacking coconuts. They always fall on my head.
And on a lonely island - maybe there will be another human being, stranded, female!!!
The longest blade impresses the most.
My second choise (I know I have none) is one of my Mean Streets.
