I realize this has no relation to knives, but i know some of you smoke pipes, so I thought someone here might appreciate these.
I have just aquired these two Castellos, but I'm not into pipes enough to hang onto them. I would like to sell them together for $220. That is significantly less than I was told they're worth in this thread, http://www.smokersforums.co.uk/showthread.php?277-Castello-estate-pipes-questions ($120-$140 for the sc31 as is, 150 to 170 for the sc16. I will break them up, but only if the broken one sells first. I'll consider trades for a folding knife of comparable value. I know very little about pipes, so please let me know if you need more information.
The SC16F seems to be in excellent condition aside from a few bite marks on the stem. When I cover the bowl with my hand and blow into the stem it seems airtight. Includes what I assume is the original pouch. Asking $150 on its own.
The SC31 is broken at the tenon, and the stem has some light scuffs, but in great shape otherwise. Asking $120 on its own.
