Edit: Looks like I posted this before on page 1. That is our younger cat, Haricot Vert. When my daughter picked her out to adopt her (it might have been at the Humane Society--my wife was with her), the cats already had a temporary name given by the staff. Several of them had names of vegetables, for some reason, and this one was named "Green Bean". My daughter decided to keep that name but in French. Go figure! She was the wildest, most active kitten there, and my daughter naturally picked her. I will try to get some more pics of her and our other cat, Buttercup, soon. [Buttercup was named by my wife. My daughter wanted to call her Karma, so I gave her some money for the naming rights and asked my wife to name her. ;) ]
