Catapults for huntin small game?

I wondered if we'd get here... I've made and used (and even hunted) with slings. Great device to get to know, though it takes a while to get good enough to reliably hit a 50 gallon drum at 50 yards... We used to await dusk, when ducks settled on an island about 30 yards offshore. Throwing flat and hard, we could usually bag at least one duck as the rock hit land and ran up the beach (lots of ducks there).

There were two of us who ate well this way for a month or so. A fella can take a rock half the size of his fist and put it clean through both sides of a barn, cutting holes in the 1X12 the size of a fist.

I aimed by holding it upright and putting the pouch as close to the eye as I dared. The accuracy is impressive and so far nothing has happened yet but the risk of a band snapping and hitting the eye is bothersome.

Hi all, I'm new here. Wondering what you thought about these slingshots with laser sights and red dot scopes?
I picked up a pair of PS-55 magnums on Thursday.
Pretty accurate after you site in the laser, plenty of fun at night too.
