Categories/Types of knives

I have one category... or I had one category when I started collecting knife pictures. I've got two now... "Knives" and "Scagel and Types". I separated the Scagel & types out because it was getting big... like pushing 100. The "Knives" is well over 500 (swords included) and little by little I move their pics in Picassa to where they lay next to something similar... like anything that looks like an M. Price bowie are all together.

I save pictures as they strike me. Some get deleted along the way. Some will never get deleted. Right now I don't have any pics I don't want for reference... whether it's a damascus interest, a particular guard form, a general form, blade shape, or, or, or...

To me the key is, I like it, so if it's in there, it's categorized... =]

Dustin, I realize that this is probably something a little complicated especially for my limited knowledge on the subject. At least this will give me ideas for tags. Thanks for clarifying the hunter/bowie/fighter thing.

Mike, I know what you mean. I just have so many and when I need a little inspiration I want to try and focus my search a little.

Different people, different ways... just like always, Patrice. Me, I goto Picassa, click "knives" and scroll the thumbnails until I get to the area I want...
