Knife #20

Barlow

-CPM-154 at 61 HRC

- Flat ground, cut swedge, long pull nick, hand rubbed finish

- 3/32 blade and spring stock

- Rosewood scales salvaged from the Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. factory that closed down in the late 1920's

- Stainless bolsters and mill relieved liners

- Closed length: 3.5"

- Pull is a 4-5

- Flush in all three positions

- Walks and talks with very smooth action.

This knife is the prototype for my ES-N-TL run of knives. This is the only existing knife that has both of my brands on it. I did carry the knife very lightly for a little while, but I cleaned everything back up and brought it back to spec. The wood handles on this knife are extremely rare, and historical pieces.

My opinion is that is one very sharp knife, and I don't mean the edge. I wish I was in a place to add to my collection at the time else it would be mine.
