My 95 lb yellow lab has just gotten the idea that if he jumps into my truck, he gets a treat. I used to have to pick him up and put him in my truck. He's only 3 years old!

Post a picture of your dog. I want to see what he looks like. Budo' and I just got back from a trip to coal run creek. He rode inside the cab on the way there , but after a romp thru the creek, I opted for the bed of the truck on the return trip. I watched him in the rearview mirror. The look on his face told me he was enjoying the ride. I think they just enjoy the air blowing thru their ears. It whould be really cool if you could teach them how to drive. You could trade off.

I'd like to post a pic of our dog Lucy, but she's so black she's invisible in all the pictures! And won't sit still very long. She's lab/shar pei and the most social being I've ever known. Loves babies and children. And stubborn! 
She has this maddening habit of snagging whatever shoe she can find and running up to visitors when someone comes in the house, so we're all the time trying to find the mates to our shoes... I don't think we could live without her anymore. Good thread Fred, Budo' looks like a super dog!

Life without our pets, just would not be the same experience. I really like this pup. He has turned out to be something special. Boy can he put a smile on my face. My son put a photo of him on my main screen. I chuckle each time I log on. Fred
