I'm thinking of getting a push dagger and don't know a lot about either one, but right now I leaning toward the Safe Keeper 2.
Which one do you like better the CBK or Safe Keeper 2 or 3, or any other push dagger you can think of excluding the Merc Worx Saraphym, or any thing in that price range.

So long as you don't mind having a folder, I'm all about the Citizen Knife from Hanwei. Lock up is sound. 440c blade. Much less likely to get you in trouble with the law any place. ($62MSRP)

Well then, I would probably go with one of the SafeKeepers. I know the steel won't be as good, but they are pretty comfortable.

Is bigger better with push daggers?

How concealable is the Safe Keeper 2 and were could you wear it for it to be concealable?

The safekeepers are designed as bootknives. And no, bigger is not better. In fact, for self defense purposes, I would want CS's mini pal. It is completely accessable because it is to be attached to your keys. Then you can grab the knife in one hand, yank your keys with the other, and you have an almost invisible knife self defense tool. The largest arteries in the human body are only about a 1/2" from the surface of the skin. The minipal could easily puncture them.

Nope, anyone can buy one. I'd go with the cbk, just because I trust BM and expect that their sheath will be high quality. I'd probably wrap the handle with paracord.

The CBK sheath IS high quality. The metal clip can be removed and the sheath willl serve for a neck knife. The clip can be rotated for horizontal belt carry, as well as tip up or tip down.

The blade is the image of the Seraphym: double edged and chisel ground, but shorter. The handle is sharp edged and you may want cord wrap or handle slabs, either of which would be easy to do.

Those UC Pushes are just dumber versions of the MiniPal I was speaking of. Very cheap, not comfortable.

The thing about the safekeepers is that the feel great they are hard to carry
unless you are wearing a coat with a inner pocket you just are at a lose
to carry the things. Also, the have little utility use(or very little) if they aren't serrated.

I think the sheath is as important, if not more important for carrying a push dagger. Cold Steel, has used two designs for the Safe Keeper, the older leather with steel clip, and the current plastic. The plastic is wider, but not as long, and a hair thinner. I BELIEVE they also use the same sheath for all of the different safekeeper models (1-3) regardless of the length of blade. I have all three (old and new SK and the CBK), and I like the CBK best, especially after I wrapped the handle in paracord. I still find all three a bit bulky for waist/belt or pocket (clipped) carry, but the CBK is best.

I'm looking for the old Benchmade Push Dagger the BM130 Kuma Zuma. If anyone has one for sale, please email or PM me.
