Hello,
Are CBN wheels any good for hollow grinding (blades, straight razor), they sound incredible on paper, any experiences, thoughts?

Most of the makers here use belt grinders. Not grinding wheels.

I know, but the reason makers don't use normal grinding wheels for hollow grinding is that they loose the form rapidly and a uniform grind is very difficult, but CBN wheels should not have this issue, and grind cooler than belts and should last a lifetime, so any experiences?

Yeah, CBN is intended for hard steel. It's not very friable. Used the way you're talking about I think it will glaze, dull and cut slowly with high pressure and likely cause issues with heat.

Nothing grinds cooler and with less pressure than sharp belts.

One of the big benefits of using a belt grinder is the contact wheel is covered in rubber and makes for a smooth soft grinding surface, allowing you to get a uniform grind, anything rigid like the wheels you are talking about would be murder to use, another problem you would need to pull the wheel off to change grits, a bit of a pain
