I have a current trade with CBurgerjr. He has received my Topps knife, but no communication since.
3/23 he received my knife
3/24 returned txt said he got it, but had family problems and would ship his end Monday.
Several txt and e mails with no reply. I hope everything is alright with him and his family and this is just an oversight......but I see there is another thread in GBU with another member.
If I receive the Ontario knife I will gladly post pos. feedback in this thread.

I had a similar issue when I traded with him ages ago, but he did come through, he's just a busy dude. He's a good guy, just give it some time.

I can understand being busy, but it only takes 30 seconds to txt or e mail. That's what bothers me the most. Well, plus the fact that I am out a $100 knife.
If the man has legit issues I am sorry. But if he had problems with shipping the other guys knives why make a deal with me so quickly?

Ive done business with him before and didn't have any issues. That being said send him a link to the thread and hopefully everything works out. its also the holiday so dont expect him to be online too much. good luck everyone

Holiday or not he has had my knife since 3/23. Is that fair?

He was already in trouble with Cave Johnson when he posted his offer in my trade thread and made a deal with me. Knowing this, how would you feel??

I would be upset too. I was just saying that he has done good in the past so hopefully he will make it right this time. I understand fully what you are saying and I think we need him to chime in.

Just received another txt 4/2 2:40 pm with an apology and a pic of the knife. I hope the guy is OK. Better communication would have made this a whole lot easier on both of us.

I think a lot of issues with trades/sales could be fixed with better communication.

For me I have no problem waiting longer for a knife as long as i know of the situation and people are honest with me. unfortunately communication is usually the first thing to go in a bad transaction

good luck to you and hopefully he'll keep communicating with you.

I think a lot of these deal issues can be avoided if people that know they got alot on their plate just avoid involving other people in deals they know aren't going to be completed in a timely manner. I mean way too many people got stuff coming up that prevent them from shipping and or communicating. It's not fair to put people thru this kinda of drama. Things can happen and I'm a compassionate dude but this nonsense is been running way to rampant here lately.

Concur!

I can understand things coming up, but come on. This person had his Phone number. He knows how to text, he should know how to show some common decency. No reason for you to not return multiple texts and calls for days straight. Even when you have serious things going on in your life, you still look at your phone at least a few times during the day.

I agree also. Ignoring an issue never works out. When a person goes through some life changing events like a divorce, being laid off, moving, getting married or whatever; it can be stressful no doubt. But simple communication can usually earn you enough time to get things somewhat in order.

Communication is the key in all respects.....that would solve 99% of all the problems on this forum!!

You are right.
Also, most post offices around here have a 24 hr kiosk for mailing after hours.
