CCKS 2023 Tim Reeve Interview

I don't think MIM is so bad. Gotta keep in mind that if you want a pistol without MIM parts these days, you are probably going to spend $3K or more. Usually more.

For instance, I have somewhere around twenty Glocks. They are all Gen 4 or newer, and they all have MIM parts. Three parts have broken in the last five years (during tens of thousands of rounds). One Gen 3 extractor (which I no longer have) and two Gen 5 strikers. Not's not bad for reliability as an average. It's not good either. Is it worse than milled parts? I dunno.

Would I rather that all parts were milled? You bet. But, I won't buy a $1500 Glock. Glock knows this. That's what it would take to keep milling the small parts in this economy.

Sad turn of the times my friends. Personally, if CRK decides to produce a fancier pocket clip, I'm more concerned about if it's easy to slip over my pocket (and holds the knife in place) then anything else. All aftermarket clips I've tried....suck. Some of them are pretty though.

If it's a 'deep Carry' I am totally out.

I got three spare clips in last week before I even saw this. Found them for $15 each and bought what was available just for future freshening as needed/desired.

Now I am glad I did, though there will probably be a bunch of original clips on the second hand market soon.

It was hard to tell from the video, but they didn’t look deep carry. Just a sort of flat top clip with a cutout in it. You can pause in the video where they are showing the ultem inkosi.

"Reeves"

At least know who you're talking to. 🙄 And I haven't even started the video yet. Will many edit-adds be necessary? 😁

Tim is a good interview. That show, though, isnt very good. Almost all fidgets and huge swaths of floor space for lines to a few dealers/makers.
