If I remember correctly the model number of that knife is 1776.
There is a stag handled version of the 1776 knife as well. I believe only 50 were made. I have one buried somewhere.

Just a quick addition of info there were 7600 of these blades made. They were issued late in 1976 and did not sell well. Buck was trying to sell them off for decades.

Last time I looked there were 5 of them floating in the bay. Watch and make sure the coin ser# matches the knife ser#...
