Cell Phone Cases & Screen Protectors

I've used Otterbox Defender cases on all my phones and they have been awesome. Until I got a galaxy S3 the rubber surrounding it would stretch out of shape at the left bottom corner. Otterbox did replace the rubber twice.

I've since went with the Trident Kracken and its holding up great, love the feel of it.

My phone is now unprotected, but I used two Otterbox Defenders for a while. The first one broke the tab that holds the phone case potion in the belt clip portion. it was replaced under warranty. For the $50 I paid, I wasn't impressed. The rubber doesn't fit properly on the hard plastic and the clear screen tends to get moisture between it and the phone screen. I finally gave up and decided to take my chances on breakage.

Magpul offers a cheap and relatively reliable case for the iPhone.
I use one after getting rid of Speck case and it holds up nicely.

Check out Rokform. I've had a V3 on my phone for 2 years and not a scratch. Unbelievable screen protectors too. Not waterproof, but the mounting options are really cool. Also made in California USA.

Based on your recommendation I just ordered the V3 with a mounting kit for my bike. Looks like it's well made. I'll post photos of the mount on my bike and of course I will include the knife I used to open the packaging, etc.

Had an Otterbox Defender on my iPhone 3. The case kept the phone safe when I dropped it into a toilet. Fortunately, I'd not done any business in said toilet before the phone fell in. :)
My iPhone 5 is wearing a Lifeproof. It's much more compact than the Otterbox.
