Cell Phone Jammer

I suppose you are all aware but just in case you don't, even the possesion of such a device in the US is a pretty serious violation of federal laws. Use of such a device is also another serious violation. You are not even allowed to monitor cell phone frequencies, transmitting on them with an unregistered, uncertified transmitter is even a bigger crime. Make no mistake these are federal viloations and there are people around who take great joy in identifying and locating these types of transmitters.

Don't start in on me. I'm just passing along the info in case you don't know. Do what you want to do.

Saying that I wonder if my freind in Afganistain could use one to prevent an IED from being triggered by cell phone, or if it would cause it to detonate? I need to look closer at that.
