It looks like they were buffed, maybe not all of them. They had to have been cleaned up.Let me know what you think.I picked them up on Ebay.Pretty good snap, and not too much play, either.

they're pretty! that celluloid is in great shape; nice examples. What'd they cost you?

Dijos,They were all in between 30 to forty shipped.I got them from one guy,so he cut a bit of a break on the shipping.I was just glad that they were as nice as they are. When I was bidding,I remembered seeing some go for a lot more.
Textoothpk,That is some article on celluloid.I had heard about some of that stuff, not sure where, though.

Yeah, I like the Schrade too! Price doesn't sound bad either!
Nice Knives!!

I like the Scrade as well. Looks to be an equal end jack, number 2564P, 'smoked pearl' celluloid.

I don't overly worry about my own Cell handled knifes; I just check them out once in a while and don't display them in a closed tight case.

You did well!

Phil

Pretty knife! I use to have some old imperial jack knives very much like that one.

Do yourself a favor and do not store them in a closed area, or display box. Not unless you dont mind them rusting, or the knives next to them.

Dragged this thread up,to show you all this Schrade fake turtle shell.

Very nice knife! Really good looking. The handles and the shape just go together. I've been developing a liking for the good old basic jack pattern and swell ends are I find are just down right classy.

Thanks for showing it.

Glad to do it ,Amos.I wish I had others with celluloid to show, but don't.
Anybody,feel free to add here,Thanks!

How did I miss this thread?? Nice knives, Vince! That celluloid; Scary to own, but who can resist! This one belongs to a good friend; I hope he will sell it some day, to me of course!

Here are some candy stripe handled knives. The top was an SFO commissioned by yours truly this year, and the congress was an SFO from a few years ago, by a friend.
Both are from Queen. I was a little leery of doing Cell, so I only had a few made.

El Lobo,Nice one's! I've heard that those Fight N Rooster's,are real collectable?
Waynorth,"SFO" ?? This must be a an abbreviation to describe the collector,"Surely freakin' obsessed" ,right? LOL!!
