I've been wanting a spyderco for a long time, I got a native for christmas and now I want another. It'll be for EDC, cutting tags, opening boxes, slicing through plastic packaging. They are both aroun under $55 at this site. Ehich do you guys think I should get? And, I can sharpen SE's.

I've been carrying a Remote Release around lately, and I kind of like it. But then, my keyring already weighed three pounds before I hooked it on there. The Cento 3 is a much thinner knife with a more discrete carry method. For everyday use, I would suggest it, but for outdoor knockaround use, I'd go with the Remote release.

I use the remote release on the job. We use a very thick cardboard which is impregnated with wax. The remote release sails through everything I've used it on. I can clip it anywhere and it stays. Great design.

The Remote Release and the Centofante3 are both excellent designs. For everyday use, though, I myself would carry the Centofante3 because of its thinness and light weight in the pocket and it's usefulness in general.

This is not taking away from either design---both feature great VG-10 and the quality you'd expect from Spyderco. Essentially, you can't go wrong with either.

If you're after your first Spyderco, might I suggest the Delica 4 as well? God bless and have a merry Christmas!

Im going to the px friday to pick up a combo endura, or delica? Forgot what they had, great knife prices there.
