Centering an old bg-42 regular

Id love to be able to get my 25 carbon fiber centered. It was shipped this way. Its not to far off but far enough to be easily noticed.
Ive taken it apart a dozen times to try and get it centered.and the first disassembly resulted in a screw getting stripped cause it was so tight.
The only way to get mine centered is to have the pivot screw so tight the blade wont open

Pictures might help? Can you take any?

padron26: Original CF? If yes I'd send it to Boise.

Steel at the "lower" Rockwell as CRK has it done can be bent slightly before breaking. I wouldn't do it though, as the chance to screw it up is pretty high. Where to clamp it? And how so you don't scratch or dent it? You dont want any stress risers forming at the clamping edge. So the clamp needs to be slightly pliable. With what would you bend it? Where would you hold the blade with that tool? How do you know you have bent it? What if you over bend it?

I'd clamp the blade between hard wood in a metal vise so 3/5ths sticks out and use the fattest grips (with wood again) at an inch or a bit less frim the tip.

Just take the blade out and go to any proper car engine place at have them see if it is actually bent or not. Or just send it in and avoid all the stress. :)

Yes, CRK will do just about anything to a Large Regular S30V knife. New dual lugs, backspacer, not sure if they would re-tumble one, dont' see why not.
However, they WILL NOT add a swedge. I tried and begged and begged but "No Sir", they also will not polish a blade that was not polished originally. Just some food for thought.
Thanks Bird about their stock of Large Regular S30V blades, that's good info to know. Much Appreciated.
