Centering the blade on a Cold Steel Rajah II

Hey excellent! Congrats. :D

Thanks ;)
I was afraid in the beginning that I would break the handle but then I remembered that Andrew Demko jumped on a Spartan and then I realized that it has friggin steel liners. It is a beast... not a marshmallow.

I have centered it
I opened the blade and then, like any caveman in rage i tried to bend the handle (below the pivot) in the desired direction. grabbed it with the fingers on the one side and bent it with the thumbs from the opposite side. Of course, I was rather gentle and did it in steps. Few bends, close the blade, check and repeat. Man, the grivory + liners are incredibly tough.

Hey,

WTG!!! IMHO the Rajah 2 is the strongest folder on the market. As you have seen from taking yours apart this knife is just plain over built. The lockbar is huge w/lots of mating surface contact. The offset long frame screws w/hex nut fasteners are a super strong way to hold everything together. Again, great job on the adjustment.

my point exactly
I was used to handle ordinary folders but I forgot that this is no ordinary folder. This is a folding axe, machete, cleaver... you name it.

One of my Rajah 1's had an off centered blade. I sent it in to Cold Steel warranty and they replaced it. This may not be a viable option for you but they told me there's no "fix" like centering the Spyderco Military and to send it back. :(

cziv is right, send it in and CS will replace the knife.

Thanks ;)

That's great news fallknivener! Glad to hear you got your blade centered... They are beasts for sure. :)

Shipping would probably be half the value of the knife. I'm from Croatia. I would have to go through hell with the customs and shipping fees.

My grandparents are from there too!! I have a Great Aunt and some cousins there too. Small world! :)
