Deep within the jungle, a stealthy predator curves it's way to an unsuspecting prey. A myriad of silent legs carry a swift menace thru the bamboo stalks, from which there is no escape...
I had fun (and a lot of work) making this knife. The scales were bought at Blade Show, pinecone seeds embedded in resin, this ones are sparkly aqua green. The blade is 52100 from the New Jersey Steel Baron, 3/16" thick, heat treated to 59 Rc by the good people at Peter's, finished to an 800 grit and polished. Swedge is mostly aesthetic as the tip was left quite robust, this one won't be snapping easy under hard use. Scales are secured by both G-Flex and polished aluminum tubes. The tooled leather sheath is made out of veg-tan Hermann Oak leather with a centipede weaving thru bamboo motif, and stitched with calf lace in a double loop pattern. I kept the blade sterile with no markings, as the clean lines speak for themselves. Asking $350 Paypal fees included, shipped insured in the U.S, for international order please contact me first to give shipping quote. Feedback is welcome, thanks for looking.
