Centofante 4 sprint in H-1

I think he means the screws must be screwed in to a threaded mate to hold, while pins are just single pieces deformed on the end. With two components in the screw & nut, there is possibly a place for moisture to be trapped between them. Although I don't think this is the case for anything beyond the surface just under the screw head.

Possibly, but trapped moisture presents very little cause for concern if the threads are not reactive. Further, threads can be and often are treated with thread compound which (if properly selected and applied) can guard against moisture intrusion.

Mr Glesser please make this happen, the Centofante 4 is so under the radar as a really great edc knife, H1 would be a good upgrade.

After all of that grinding, the blade would be so dang hard since H-1 is work hardened. This is the key reason that Spyderco won't do a FFG on H-1; it would simply be too hard and brittle after all of the grinding.

On topic: a Centafonte 4 with H-1 would be cool. I'd buy it.

Actually, the issue about grinding H1 is that it has to be hollow-ground, since it must be ground on both sides at the same time. Therefore it can't be flat ground at all, neither FFG nor saber ground.

Are all current Salt folders linerless?

I believe all of them are. I would think the H1 version of the Cento 4 would be linerless & with pinned construction. Regardless, I'd definitely want one, provided the price isn't excessive.

The Cento 4's Wharncliffe blade shape is useful & not one that's currently available on any Salt versions, AFAIK.
