Central Utah Campout and skills practice July 1st and 2nd - open invite

July 1st and 2nd is the annual Central Utah campout. This year like last, we will be camping at the Spring City campground (AKA Mud Hole) up Spring City Canyon. The site has a large group area and 6 to 7 smaller tent areas. There is also a rest room at the campsite next to the parking lot.

Activities include a Dutch OVen dinner Friday night, practicing wilderness skills (gathering wild edibles, shelters, fuzz sticks, trail clearing, you name it, we can do it), Chatting around the Huge fire, fishing, hiking and anything else you want to do in the mountains. Building a brush shelter (there are tons of downed trees so that should be easy) and collecting wild edibles are 2 of the things I'm planning to do.

If anyone wants to come spend some quality time outdoors having fun and practicing skills, let me know. Thanks!

Hey Ryan, would be great if you can join me. Don't worry, Forum Member Roger Smith is planning to come with some of his family and some of my neighbors might be there also.

I'm not too far away, and I'd love to come out. However, my schedule is all screwed up for the next few weeks. Wish I had read this thread sooner. Maybe next year!
