Cerakoted Rift liners.

The cool thing about dying the Rift scales.......I see three colors now. Here is another picture. Good to know that the liquid works well also.....I was hesitant to try it. I sand blasted my scales with 120 aluminum oxide before dye treatment. I feel it helped when comparing to past dye jobs.

I really like what you are doing. You aren't just making the liners look better, you are making the individual attributes of the knife complemented with colors to augment the primary colors/patterns.

If you have not considered it, you should think about offering this as a service to other owners (I'd pay you to do it). This forum is a fantastic place for people who can customize to be connected to customers (with the proper account). And while I am not Ms. Cleo, I think you would find a lot of demand for this and perhaps a way for you to finance your future knife purchases and then some.

I always felt BM liners were bland. I loved what they were doing with the ti liners on the 690 (blue ano) and the Dark Stars among others like the Shoki. Yes, it's subtle, but it still adds a classy touch and often a really good contrast to the pattern. I think my M390 Contego would look super sharp with blue liners matching the G10. Especially since this isn't the blade, I think the Cerakote will be super durable with this type of usage.

I absolutely love the 480, but wish the liners were blue. The knife would look 100 times sharper...

Thanks guys, I have 2 knives getting done now. I'm masking these knives in a way to keep the tolerances the same. I'm doing a Manix 2 that is super smooth. I'm doing the cerakote in a way that will keep all the specs the same.

That looks awesome, Vader1. It adds touch of reptilian to the Rift. Almost want to make pivot screw covered with fake snake eye decal ;)
